Quinn and her father move to the fading Midwestern town of Kettle Springs for a fresh start, but instead encounter a fractured community that has fallen on hard times since its treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As tensions bubble between the bickering locals, a sinister figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, bringing one bloody victim at a time to their spectacularly sticky demise.
